5 Months Into Blogging

It has been about 5 months since Kayla and I took this new journey together with starting our own blog. It has been a long and crazy ride being bloggers and I have enjoyed every second of it. I did do a review after 1,000 reviews a few months ago, but I felt that it was necessary to share some updates on my blogging experience.

The longer that I have been accustomed to blogging, the more challenging it seems to be. As you continue to share your ideas with the rest of the world, it can be tricky to come up with new topics. No matter who you are, everyone experiences a “writer’s block” at least once. That is what I have been currently experiencing at the moment. With that being said, that is the only negative that I have to share after five months.

Five months into blogging and totaling over 3.5K in visitors has been amazing. Although there were ups and downs with our site traffic over the past few months, I thank each one of you for visiting the Couple’s Checklist blog. As of recent, Kayla and I finally put together a posting schedule to make our blog more consistent.

Kayla will typically post on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday while I will post on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday. Hopefully, if you have been a loyal reader of ours, you figured us out already. Along with consistent posting, our plan has been to grow our views and unique visitors by 5% each month. So far, we are on a 1 month streak of growth since implementing this new goal!

From the beginning where my main goal was to share as much of my thoughts as possible, I am happy that it has turned into consistency and growth as the main focuses.

Although we have half of a month to get through, 2020 is going to be one exciting year for our blog. We will be starting it off with a big trip to Colorado in which we will have some great insight to share with you all. Make sure to follow along as Christmas and the New Year is coming up very soon… woo!

Happy 5 months to our Couple’s Checklist readers!
