Traveling has been a big passion of mine for over a year now and that addiction will not stop anytime soon. With how obsessed on earning miles on my United Explorer card, who knows if that addiction will ever go away. I have so many top travel destinations around the world that I really want to visit, but you may notice a trend with my preferred destinations.
They all include vast amounts of nature and large mountains. 😉
Having yet to travel outside of the United States and Utah being the furthest destination I have traveled to, I have a lot of things to catch up on. Below, you I will review my top three next travel destinations that I want to go see over anything else. Enjoy!
Ah yes, my first destination here will probably be the peak of my life whenever I decide to head out there. If you haven’t learned from previous posts, I am OBSESSED with massive mountain ranges and Switzerland seems like the place to be.
I still have a fear of traveling overseas for many reasons, but once I overcome that fear, I feel confident that the Swiss Alps will be my first stop when hopping over the pond. I have heard nothing but good things about the scenery, the culture, and food in this place. Those are my top three checklist items when traveling as well, so all thumbs up in my book.
I mean, come on now. I don’t care where you grew up or what you like to do, if you tell me this isn’t beautiful, you may be an alien. Whenever I get to the swiss alps, I probably will spend hours upon hours of just in awe of what my eyes are seeing.
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
The next one up on my list is located right here in the United States of America. I am actually pretty excited about Wyoming and especially Yellowstone because I may be heading there this upcoming summer! If Kayla and I head out to Utah again for a longer trip, I am dragging her butt north to Wyoming.
There is so much going on at this park as I feel it is one of the more popular nature attractions in the country with so many beautiful sights to see. From the steaming hot geysers to the Grand Teton Mountains, it has been a dream of mine to see this place every singe I started to snowboard and hike. Did I mention that there is a super volcano located under the park that will most likely explode in a long long time, but we won’t be here to see it (thank god).
This place right here is a little more reachable budget wise compared to Switzerland and I am totally find with it,.
Glacier National Park, Montana
Do you see the trend here as well? I am obsessed with wanting to go to places that people outside the state have no business going to. Who goes to Montana? This is not a shot at you fellow Montana residents, but I think that is the question. Heck, I got questioned for going to Utah.
Glacier National Park is easily another hidden beauty that this country holds within. I say hidden because not many people go to Montana, but I want to soak it all in. Another massive mountain range located near the border of Canada, this place honestly resembles the Swiss Alps to me, but America’s version.
I have nothing much else to say about Montana other than how beautiful this park is along with the state. I always send Kayla pictures that I see of Montana as it amazes me each time. I just wish it was a bit cheaper to FLY THERE. If you are reading United, PLEASE make these flights cheaper :).
Like I said, nothing else to say but speechless. As bad as a sleeper that I am, I could honestly probably sleep outside with this view for a long time. I wouldn’t mind chopping it up with some bears and moose for this view.
Well, that’s my top three so far! I will keep you all updated as this blog comes along on my progress to getting to these locations. With the looks of it right now, I should be heading out to Colorado 1-2 times this winter to snowboard.
Let me hear your top 3 or if you have visited these beautiful locations before!
